Process Automation Consultant (Palo Alto)

General Overview

The Catalytic Process Automation Consultant will support our enterprise client base by mapping customers’ processes into automation designs and building those processes in the Catalytic platform. In this role, you will be responsible for evaluating business processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, and developing and implementing solutions. Must love solving problems, be relentless in the pursuit of information and solutions and have a keen interest in developing an expertise in process technology. Some technical expertise is a plus - passing knowledge of programming methods, HTML, Javascript, etc. Expect to travel over 50% of the time within the United States and internationally.


• Lead ongoing reviews of business processes and develop optimization strategies

• Execute implementation project plans and tasks

• Translate customer needs, team notes and customer process maps and SOPs into efficient automated processes

• Ensure that the solution meets business needs and requirements

• Manage competing resources and priorities

• Monitor deliverables and ensure timely completion of projects

• Lead automation workshops for our key customer contacts

Education & Experience

• A bachelor’s degree in business, computer science or related field

• Experience leading customer facing workshops

• Development background a plus; experience in utilizing Javascript for performing simple web form tasks

• Familiarity with enterprise shared services organizations a plus

• Ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with stakeholders to determine acceptable solutions

• Excellent documentation skills, experience creating detailed reports and giving presentations

• Process analysis expertise such as Six Sigma certification not required but definitely a benefit
